Ballerina Remix

Ballerina Remix is a fine art remix inspired by “Ballerina di 14 anni” by Edgar Degas. Ballerina integrates classical content & aesthetics with contemporary tools & technology to bring the moving 3d interactive video sculpture to life, with ghost-like holographic dancers performing on layers of gauze & tulle.

As a multi-channel video sculpture, Ballerina Remix challenges the way audiences interact with screens, and encourages viewers to move about the environment, to see the piece in motion in an ever-evolving dance, from different spatial angles. Ballerina Remix has been exhibited at New York University, as well as the New York Hall of Science.
